DENA BLUM-ROTHMAN
CERTIFIED INFANT AQUATIC SURVIVAL INSTRUCTOR
ALL NEW STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE PRIVATE SURVIVAL SKILLS LESSONS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN GROUP CLASSES.
Your child will be ready to join a weekly group class upon completion of private lessons. Continuing attendance in a group class is an essential component of the aquatic learning process. Not only does it ensure retention of the basic survival skills learned in private lessons, but it allows children to progress and improve their swimming. Best of all, our group classes are FUN!
Group sessions begin in September, January, and June and are scheduled every day of the week (Monday-Sunday). Cost is prorated according to the number of weeks remaining in the current session to accommodate those students who finish private lessons and join mid-session.
Group classes are divided according to age, as follows:
AQUABABIES (babies 7 - 29 months):
Accompanied by a parent or caregiver in the water
This class allows you hands-on practice working with your baby in the water. Babies and toddlers experience the fun of water exploration within a relaxed group setting. Once a week, your baby/toddler will learn to enjoy the water by combining swimming and floating skills with songs and other activities designed to produce happy little swimmers. There is a maximum of 6 students to 1 instructor.
